Succulent plants, also known as succulents, are plants with thick and fleshy parts having the ability to
retain water; these plants can easily survive in harsh arid climate. Being different from many other
plants with a more distinctive, interesting and unique appearances, succulents can easily make you
wonder if these alien plant species are actually real. Along with this, they are very easy to grow; hence
you will find them planted in many gardens.
Succulents, being different from other plants, need not to be watered daily. Watering them once a
week, when their soil is completely dry, works just fine for them. Precisely, watering them every 10 to
14 days sits well with them. However that does not indicates to deprive them of water completely.
Like many other garden plants, succulents too require trimming for better shape and size. It is always
preferable to remove or cut off any dead, broken or infected leaves, stems or flowers to protect the rest
of the plant from getting infected.
